Pickleball is an easy-to-learn paddle sport for all ages and abilities. It combines elements of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton and can be played as singles, doubles, or mixed doubles. Best of all - the fundamentals of the game can be learned in just one session making it a perfect sport for the whole family. With six  Pickleball courts and a ready supply of equipment on hand, it's easy to get everyone playing in no time at all!

- 6 lighted pickleball courts- Social events for all levels and ages
- UCPA is a DUPR Pickleball registered club
- DUPR League teams year round, 2.5-4.5 premier levels
- Drop In member play multiple times a week
- Demo paddles and balls available for member use

  • Pickleball Drop In Times
      • Tuesday: 5:30-7:30 p.m. - Doubles ROUND ROBIN - RSVP required
      • Wednesday: 8:45 - 10:30 am - Ladies All Levels
      • Friday: 8:45 - 10:30 am -  Open Drop In
      • Sunday: 8:45 - 10:30 am - Open Drop In

  • Pickleball Classes
    • UC's very own Miles Bentley is a certified Pickleball Teaching Professional and is offering weekly clinics for beginner and intermediate levels. 

  • Rules
      • Open court booking policy for all other times whether it is tennis or pickleball.  Sign up via the University Club website on-line tennis court reservation system. Go to: Sports & Recreation/Tennis/Court Calendar.  Please be sure to register all players.   All tennis rules on apparel and guest policy apply.
      • Court 8 is designated pickleball court
      • Court 8 may be booked for tennis if all courts are reserved except during Drop In times
      • Court 9 & 10 may be used for pickleball play if court 8 is booked
      • Players under 18 years old must be supervised by an adult.
      • Some Pickleball paddles are banned at the club if they have high noise levels. Wooden and Aluminum paddles are generally banned. For a list of the banned paddles at the club please visit this link (Sun City Grands Policy on permitted and banned paddles is the same as UCPA).
      • Please return nets after play.
