Camp Programs The University Club of Palo Alto offers kids camps for members throughout the year, including Fun in the Sun Summer Camp and Holiday Camps during winter and spring breaks. Camp programs are designed for kids ages 4 - 12, offering a wide variety of activities including arts & crafts, exercise, field games, recreational swim & tennis, surprise guests & much, much more!   • Fun in the Sun Summer Camp

      Fun in the Sun Camp is the perfect summer camp for your kids! Our great facilities and talented staff offer a wide variety of activities including arts & crafts, exercise, recreational swim, tennis, field games, surprise guests and much more! Campers will have fun exploring, learning, and working with others.
       
      2024 Camp Sessions
      Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
      Early care (8:30 am - 9:00 am) and Extended care (3:30 pm - 5:00 pm) available
      Age: 5 - 10 years old

      1 week sessions from June 10th – August 2nd

      SESSION RATES
      Full Day: 9:00am – 3:30pm                                  Half Day: 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm
      Member: $475 per week Member: $300 per week
      Sibling discount enrolled in the same week = $50 off per sibling

      AM Extended Care: 8:30 am - 9:00 am
      PM Extended Care: 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
      Extended Care Hourly Rates:  $20 per hour

      Please list any special needs and medical information (i.e. allergies) pertaining to your child/children that our staff should be aware of: 


      In case of emergency, I/we authorize treatment and/or care of the above-named child/children at any hospital. If there is an emergency and I/we cannot be reached, please contact the person listed below who is authorized to act on my/our behalf: 

      I/we the parents of the above-named child/ children give my/our approval to participate in any and all day camp activities. I/we assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation including transportation to and from the activities and release the University Club of Palo Alto, its members, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any liability to such participation.

      WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION


      1. I agree that I am personally responsible for my and my child(ren)s safety and actions while at the University Club of Palo Alto. I agree to comply with all UCPA policies and rules, including but not limited to all UCPA policies, guidelines, signage, and instructions with full awareness and appreciation of the risks involved, I, for myself and on behalf of my family, spouse, estate, heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the University Club of Palo Alto, its board members, officers, agents, servants, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, successors, and assigns (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties, any third-party using the UCPA, or otherwise, while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the UCPA and/or while using any UCPA facilities, tools, equipment, or materials.

      2. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, lawsuits, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities (including attorney fees) arising either directly or indirectly from or related to all claims made by or against any of the Released Parties due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or related to my use of the UCPA facilities, tools, equipment, or materials, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise

      3. By signing below I acknowledge and represent that I have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability, understand it and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed, including without limitation the Release of Liability and Indemnification requirements contained in this document; I am sufficiently informed about the risks involved in using the UCPA to decide whether to sign this document, no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and I execute this document for full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same. I agree that this Wavier of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with California law, and that if any of the provisions hereof are found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall be enforced as fully as possible and the unenforceable provision(s) shall be deemed modified to the limited extent required to permit enforcement of the Wavier of Liability as a whole.
