      Mark joined the UCPA Tennis Department in 2011. Mark is USPTA certified and has been teaching all skill levels for the past 14 years. Mark oversees the adult program at UC including USTA. He has also been instrumental for the Summer Junior Interclub team which were champions in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

He was most recently with the Jack Coleman Tennis Center in Garland, Texas, where he gave private and group lessons, taught beginners to ranked juniors, coached under 10 tennis, traveled with juniors to tournaments, and coached junior and adult USTA/TCD teams. 
  
At Vincennes University, Mark was the NJCAA singles All American on a team that finished 4th nationally in 2005. In 2004 he was the West Virginia AAA high school state champion, achieving high ranks as a junior on both the Midwest and National levels.  Mark also competed in Futures and Satellite professional tournaments. Mark has held a men's open ranking in West Virginia and Texas and is still competing in leagues and tournanents today. 
 
"I believe tennis is about creating relationships with one another and my goal is to create a positive experience for players of all ages and levels so that tennis can be a sport for a lifetime."

      Miles joined the UCPA Tennis Department in 2015. His qualifications are with the USPTA, PTR and Tennis Coaches Australia.  Miles coaches all levels of Adults and Juniors.

Miles has been involved in coaching for 16 years in leadership positions at prestigious tennis facilities in Australia, England and The United States. This includes being a Program Director at The Ritz-Carlton Tennis Garden in Key Biscayne, Miami for six years. Miles has played, worked and coached amongst some of the best in the tennis world.  

He holds a Bachelor of Sports Science Degree from The University of Western Australia and a Masters in Education at Notre Dame University, Australia. In Australia he played Division 1 men’s level.

He is very excited about joining the team here at The University Club of Palo Alto. Miles enjoys working with players of all ages and levels and is hoping to meet you on the courts soon.
