Tennis Court Rules & Regulations

Sign-in

 
Club members are required to complete cards at sign-in area before using courts.
 
Sign-in cards are to be filled out with all information (date, time, court numbers, and all players).
 
Failure to register guests results in $10 fine.
 
Failure to sign-in can result in loss of court.
 
Court time is limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
 
If all courts are occupied, place racket in back of rack on Pro Shop to await turn for next available court.
 
Once a member has signed in, he/she may not change his/her time on the card even if no one is waiting. He/she may continue to use the court until someone else is waiting and it's his/her turn to vacate the court. Then, he/she may put his/her racket back in rack to await a free court.

Guests

 
Members are to register guests at all times.
 
Guest charges will be established by the Board of Directors from time to time.
 
Only one court may be occupied by a Club member and his guests.
 
Guests may not play if unaccompanied by a member.

Court Use
 
Courts are available for members and spouses.
 
Courts are available for children of Club members. The children of Club members residing in the member's household or attending college shall be extended the same privileges as members. Married children and in-laws have no tennis privileges.
 
There are no reciprocal agreements with other clubs which involve courts, unless approved in advance by the Tennis Director or General Manager.
 
All special events requesting court use must be approved in advance by the Tennis Committee, Tennis Director, and General Manager.

Court Etiquette
 
Proper tennis attire must be worn at all times, including shirts for men.
 
Metal rackets must be equipped with protective guards.
 
Use proper gates when going to or from a court.
 
Please observe posted rules and priorities.
 
Distraction of players should be avoided (loud talking, small children on court, etc.)
 
No abusive language.
 
No food or drinks on courts.

Court Abuse
 
A locked black box is available for members to report court violations or abuse.

Court Priorities
 
Court priorities will be posted on the bulletin board.
