USTA PHILOSOPHY: USTA teams are primarily "competitive" in nature, the object being to field a team that can win team matches and advance to post-season playoffs.
REQUIREMENTS: Playing on the USTA team is by invitation only. Players must be asked to play by Head Pro Todd Edwards. Players must be of tournament caliber.

PRACTICES: Same times as interclub. Some practices will be missed and substituted with league match play. During match play the coach will carefully observe each player.

POSITIONS: The position or seeding that the player plays in competitive matches against opposing teams will be determined by several factors: Performance, attitude and effort.

IMPORTANT DATES: Please note that if any team makes the playoffs, they are scheduled for the first week of August. The season is a five-week season that begins at either the end of June or the beginning of July, depending what day the team plays. Including playoffs the season last for approximately six weeks.
